National Account Manager (m/f/d) Professional trade supplies, wholesalers and national/ regional/ local distributors - DACH region

Our client ToughBuilt is a fast-growing product designer, manufacturer and distributor of innovative tools and accessories in the building industry. They market and distribute various home improvement and construction product lines for both the professional and DIY markets under the TOUGHBUILT® brand name.

With successful locations in the USA and Great Britain and plans to double the range of products by the end of the year with the introduction of a full range of innovative hand tools, ToughBuilt now wants to conquer the DACH market.

Therefore we are looking for you (m/f/d) as an experienced salesperson in the building industry, who will successfully distribute our innovative and high-quality products.

Your tasks

  • As national account manager for the DACH region, with a focus on Germany, you will drive the sales of our growing product range independently and in a focused manner
  • You represent our brand and our innovative products successfully at wholesalers, large retailers, industrial suppliers and other national, regional and local distributors in the building sector
  • You recognise market potential and independently analyse competitive activities
  • You plan and implement sales measures and sales targets for your sales region
  • You generate new leads and support and advise an existing customer base
  • You report directly to the managing director at our London headquarters and travel there for meetings as and when required (typically a few times in a year)

Your profile

  • You have many years of experience as a sales professional in an international environment with a proven track record of developing new business
  • You have a strong network with relevant building and retail dealers in the DACH region
  • You are a communicative sales personality with very good negotiating skills
  • You convince through a professional, winning appearance as well as through your high commitment
  • You have strong organizational and analytical skills
  • You have a high willingness to travel and a valid driving licence
  • You have excellent written and verbal German and English communication skills
